U.S. Embassy Cafeteria Call for Proposals à Djibouti
The U.S. Embassy Djibouti seeks to enter into an agreement with an operator to provide reasonably priced, healthy, and safely prepared meals to its cafeteria. The operator must offer a local and international selection for breakfast and lunch with takeaway food for busy professionals.
The U.S. Embassy will supply all the necessary kitchen and storage equipment at no cost to the operator. The operator will be responsible for the food, drinks, cooking, and any personnel needed.
Interested potential operators must have a current and valid business license to operate as a food service vendor in Djibouti and submit an initial statement of an interest of no more than three pages with the following information:
- Food Service Experience (types of service, and volume of customers).
- Proposed menu for a week (to include local/international breakfast and lunch options and takeaway options).
- Initial plan for sourcing ingredients (where the operator plans to purchase vegetables, meat, and staples).
- Contact information including phone and email, and the name and address of any existing operations.
Proposals should be submitted to the Djibouti Procurement Team at DjiboutiProcurement@state.gov.
ALL TENDERS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE AMERICAN. EMBASSY NOT LATER THAN MONDAY MARCH 27, 2023, AT 12:00 P.M. TENDERS RECEIVED AFTER THIS DATE AND TIME WILL BE REJECTED WITHOUT FURTHER CONSIDERATION.
