WFP Djibouti Online Auction – Vehicles, Generators, Computer Equipment & Office Furniture à Djibouti
The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in Djibouti invites you to participate in an Online Auction from Thursday, 6 August 2026 to Monday, 17 August 2026, the auctioned assets are Light Vehicles such TOYOTA HARDTOPS, Generators, Computer Equipment, Office Furniture, and more.
To participate, bidders must download the WFP Online Auctions app, available on both Google Play and the App Store. Through the app, users can browse the item catalogue, review detailed specifications, and place bids all from their mobile devices.
Bidders must present a security deposit through a certified cheque of DJF 500,000 if they are bidding for the Light Vehicles and Generators, and DJF 35,400 if they are bidding for the other lot’scategories and are invited to follow the instructions in the application.
The security deposits payment (certified cheque) must be made and presented to WFP central office between Thursday, 6 August 2026 to Sunday, 16 August 2026 by noon (12:00 pm), No deposits will be accepted after this date and time.

How to participate:
Step 1: Download the WFP Online Auctions app using one of the QR codes.
Step 2: Present the security deposit (certified cheque) between Thursday, 6 August 2026 to Sunday, 16 August 2026 by noon (12:00 pm), then your account will be activated.
Step 3: Register ahead of time, explore the catalogue, and place bids during the auction period from Thursday, 6 August 2026 to Monday, 17 August 2026.
The viewing is open from Tuesday, 4 August 2026 to Monday, 17 August 2026, between 9:30 am – 12:00 am and 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm (exclusive of the weekend) at the following addresses:

IMPORTANT OBSERVATIONS FOR THE BUYERS:
- All sold items will be sold on “as is and where is” basis.
- Activation of the bidders’ accounts to start the bidding will take place approximately 24 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays) following the submission of the certified cheque; to allow WFP to do the necessary verification.
- The security deposit amount (certified cheque) of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned to the bidders within one week (7 calendar days) once the winners are determined.
- Once the winner is announced, the winner will be obliged to deposit 100% of the awarded amount. The certified cheque will be returned to the winner once WFP confirms receipt of the full awarded amount.
- Any payment default will result in the confiscation of the certified cheque, and WFP will cash / redeem it with no legal procedures, and the winner is stripped of any right to complain.
- The vehicles are not customs cleared, and the buyer is responsible for the payment of all taxes and duties also connected with customs clearance.
- Release of the light vehicles will be subject to the buyer providing proof of payment of all applicable customs duties and taxes (customs receipt), evidence of ownership transfer, and corresponding proof of payment made to WFP.
