Data & Analytics Manager 1
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organisation with the exclusively humanitarian mission to protect the lives and dignity of victims of war and internal violence and to provide them with assistance. It also endeavours to prevent suffering by promoting and strengthening International Humanitarian Law and universal humanitarian principles.
The Djibouti Mission is seeking for an experienced, highly motivated and qualified person to fill the position of: Protection Data Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES
* University degree or equivalent experience
* At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar function
* Knowledge of computer skills
* Fluent in English and Arabic – French and asset
* Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
* Good analytical skills and highly motivated personality (knowledge of BI,SQL/virtual basic programming languages and knowledge of data-analysis software are asset)
* Good communication and organizational skills
* Good interpersonal relations and flexibility
* Good team spirit and ability to provide constructive feedback
RESPONSABILITIES AND MAINS TASKS
* Supervises use of the Prot 6 case-management tool
* Carries out data processing; sets data-entry procedures and participates in reviews of working procedures
* Promotes a good data-management system and ensures that it is of high quality by carrying out data controls
* Provides statistics on protection activities for external reporting and ad-hoc figures for internal use
* Carries out data analysis
* Contributes to the daily organization of the protection office
* Guarantees the protection and security of individuals' personal data
* Supports the protection coordination team in adopting and implementing new ICT tools
* Actively participates and contributes to the Data Protection and other Protection meetings
* Supervises use of the Prot 6 case-management IT tool.
* Provides training, coaching and advises users on Protection data
* Manages protection data (PCP, PFL, DET & FOR)
* Carries out data controls and makes necessary corrections
* Contributes to the preparation of the attestations of detention
* Contributes to the physical filing in Djibouti office.
WORKING HOURS:
8 - 17H, SUNDAY TO THURSDAY, INCL. ONE HOUR LUNCH BREAK FROM 12.30 - 13.30 PM
